OKC Midtown Engagement Session | Nickoo + Austin

Engagement Season has come and gone but that means I have lots of Oklahoma Engagement sessions ready to share! We are starting it off with Nickoo + Austins OKC Engagement Session!

I met up with N & A at Plant OKC to start their early fall engagement session! When Nickoo first mentioned that she wanted to use the mural I knew we had to do it! Its the next OKC picture hot spot and I’m not even mad about it! After using the “Plant One on Me” mural we popped over to the Midtown parking garage to get some amazing views of OKC plus the cutest red sign in town! I have been shooting at this parking garage since the early days of my career and it truly never gets old! I love how you can see the entire skyline from this garage unlike the ones closer into town that offer partial views. It’s a totally different photo when you’ve got the best city in view!

After the garage we headed to another one of my favorite engagement session locations, the Wheeler District! Known for having the cutest Ferris wheel and fun hammocks, the park is perfect for your engagement session secondary location! My biggest advice when it comes to the Wheeler District is to pick and off peek day! Our session was on a Sunday evening with perfect weather so it was a bit crowded. Nothing a little photoshop can’t fix but it did mean we had to wait for the best locations!

After exploring the park area we ended our session on the Ferris wheel right as the sun was setting! Nickoo + Austin were troopers with all of my requests in the tiny little gondola, but it was SO worth it! The golden hour sun hit perfectly and helped us get some of my favorite images of the session!

Nickoo + Austin are set to get married this September at Cole’s Garden in Oklahoma City. I am SO excited to celebrate these two so soon!!
