Hannah + Garrett | Summer Wedding at The Manor
I hope someday soon I can look back on this blog post and smile, knowing it was written during a scary time, but we made it through!! I truly can’t believe we’re in the middle of a Pandemic Crisis. COVID-19 has wrecked havoc on weddings everywhere. From Oklahoma, Colorado to Washington to Maine, all over wedding have been postponed until the days of COVID-19 are over. The suddenness of the crisis made it hard for so many brides the past two weeks and forced them to make some tough and scary decisions.
I’ve had several Oklahoma brides postpone their weddings and though it breaks my heart their original wedding plans have changed, I’m so thankful that I’ll still get to be a part of their summer weddings! They have been kind, courageous, and loving through the whole process and I am HONORED to call them my brides!
To keep us all reminded of the brighter days, here’s a look at one of my June weddings from 2019! This stunning summer wedding took place at the Manor in Edmond, Oklahoma. The manor is one of my absolute favorite venues to shoot at in Oklahoma thanks to its cozy-homestyle feel! The bridal room has the perfect amount of light and makes it easy for getting ready photos!
Hannah + Garrett opted to have their ceremony outdoors overlooking that beautiful Oklahoma farm land and complimenting the landscape was a stunning floral swag by Rootstock Floral. The Oklahoma sun was no joke that day but these two thought ahead and had welcome drinks waiting for their guests to help keep them cool!
The flowers in the reception matched Hannah’s neutral color scheme and brought her pink, white, and grey vision to life! One of my favorite reception details was the custom wood cut sign that was displayed above the head table! At the end of the night Hannah’s final request was a photo by the sign proudly displaying her new name! It turned out to be one of my favorite photos of the day!
