I am so thrilled to share my first wedding back of 2020, DaLacy & Weston’s greenery filled wedding at The Springs in Edmond!

We’ve all heard it, 2020 has been the worst. From COVID-19 to murder hornets to who all knows what else, it has been a hard year for everyone. It has been uniquely hard on the wedding industry and all of the wonderful 2020 brides. After the closures in March, I had numerous Oklahoma and destination brides opt to move their wedding to later in 2020 or beyond to 2021. DaLacy was one of the incredible brides who took her chances and THANKFULLY was able to have the wedding her and Weston were dreaming of! I am so impressed by her grace, resilience, and joy through it all! It was the happiest moment to arrive on their wedding day and see a venue prepared to be full of loving guests, safely distanced, and a happy bride + groom just ready to be married!

DaLacy & Weston’s summer wedding at the Spring in Edmond was filled with lots of greenery, white blooms, and gold accents! Rootstock floral killed it as always with the extraordinary ceremony install, centerpieces and bridal bouquet! I love the DaLacy went with a less trendy color pallet and put her girls in green! They were SO beautiful and went perfectly with the late spring/early summer vibes! Arreis Films was the second MVP of the day with her amazing co-working spirit, it was such a joy to work with her!

After a few months off of photographing weddings, it was the best feeling to be back serving my couples and helping preserve their wedding memories! If COVID has taught me anything, its that these moments are not guaranteed and it means so much to have our family and friends there for these huge milestones. I definitely did not take these moments lightly and did everything I could to preserve them in the best way!
