Emily | OU Class of 2020 Senior Session

Seniors

Sometimes there are seniors that just make my job so easy, Emily was one of them! I met Emily earlier in 2020 during a senior session I did for the OU Interior Design students! I did a large group shoot and headshots for them to help commemorate all their hard work together over the last 4 years!

I was so excited when Emily reached out because she was one of the girls that was so excited about the images on the back of my camera form the interior design senior session! We met up right at the beginning of May as things were starting to become more “normal” before they got crazy again!

I had the best time hitting up some of OU’s most picturesque spots for Emily’s senior session. I love to start my senior session at the Biz and work are way around campus. Some of my favorite spots to shoot at are the ivy wall behind the library, the courtyard between Evans and Adams, and of course the signature white stairs of the Chem building!

The University of Oklahoma never fails to amaze me with how many beautiful, and sentimental spots that it has to shoot at! Being a senior photographer in Norman is almost too easy because of it! With lots of greenery and hits of white mixed in with the classic OU brick, a senior session at OU will forever be one of my favorite things!

I have always held senior sessions close to my heart but nothing has made them more special than the hard reality of Class of 2020 not getting to have that graduation feeling. I hope that these photos gave my girls that graduation feeling that they missed out on and that they are photos they can show their grandchildren someday and recount the craziness of this year, but with a smile!
