Summer Family Pictures in Downtown OKC

Family

I don’t photograph OKC family pictures super often, but when I do they are C U T E! We had the best time with the Shetley family capturing what I like to call, the terrible-two’s session!

I have known Meghann and Trevor for several years thanks to my BFF Bethany! This is her brother and his family and they are just the cutest ever! Their sweet girl is just a few short months from turning two and has all the sass you could ever dream of! After a quick decision we made our way to Scissortail park for this ever so cute OKC family session!

Scissortail park is downtown OKC’s newest addition and has an amazing park for kiddos! Featuring a slide, jungle gym and lots of interactive climbing, its the perfect spot for a cool summer morning or lovely fall outing! Though it was a bit balmy the morning of the session the Shetley family did so wonderful and handled the heat like such champs!

As they say, once you start approaching two, the personalities of the babies start to become their own! It was no different with this session! Meghann and Trevor’s sweet baby “S” is full of sass, joy, and a love of applesauce! One of my favorite images from their session is her post cry snack, its truly adorable! My biggest advice for family photos is to not be afraid of a few tears! The reality is, your toddler probably cries! You might not want to remember it now but when she is 16 and you want to embarrass her, you’ll love that you have these photos. My goal is to capture your family and what your normal is!

I hope you enjoy some of my favorite OKC family pictures in downtown OKC at Scissortail Park!

Cheers!
