Brittany + Taylor | Southeast Oklahoma Engagement Pictures
I have to start with this, Brittany & Taylor go down in the history books because I got to meet 3 corgi’s and 9 corgi puppies at their engagement session at their land and IT WAS THE BEST. If you didn’t know, I’m obsessed with dogs. and even more obsessed with corgi’s! The fluffy booties get me every time!!
Engagement sessions are always fun for me because its usually the first time I’m getting to meet my couple in person! This one was especially fun because I got to take a road trip to Caney, Oklahoma (near Atoka in the SE corner of the state) and have Brittany & Taylor lead me around to some of my favorite locations that I’ve ever shot at!
We started off at the most amazing tree lined dirt road that I have ever seen! Brittany mentioned she had wanted to take photo here since high school, and MAN am I so thankful that I was the one that got to take them! Central Oklahoma isn’t known for having the most amazing trees but South Eastern Oklahoma has it going on! Dreaming of those Notebook vibes for your session? Lets take a road trip!!
Next we headed to the land that B & T bought together to start their lives! There is something so special about taking photos at places that mean something, especially the site of your future home! There was one tree at the start of the property that had the most amazing light! Taylor kept saying how he wasn’t a fan of it, but I have to disagree 😂 the light was truly amazing!!
We ended the session at my favorite spot, Taylor’s family’s land. HOME OF THE CORGI’S! I usually ask my couple’s about their pets early on in our conversations but it slipped my mind early in the session. It was the best surprise when we pulled up to see the cutest little merle Corgo runnings around trying to greet us! Doc made an appearance in a few pictures, I promise you’re going to love him! We headed down to the cow pasture, and with some help from Taylor’s sister and the feed truck, we got some of the most fun pictures featuring what I like to call, Moo Moo Doggos! haha
I can’t write this post without bragging on how wonderful Brittany & Taylor were to work with! They were so relaxed, easy to guide, and had genuine smiles through the whole thing, a dream come true! I cannot wait for the wedding in July at the Pointe in McAlester, Oklahoma! I promise you’re going to love the views from this Southeastern Oklahoma wedding venue!
