Its no secret that when it comes to taking engagement pictures in Tulsa, Oklahoma, The Philbrook is always high on the list of locations! This historic museum is full of European charm and the most amazing gardens that make it a must have locale for my engaged Tulsa couples! I was so excited when Jessica brought up the fact that they are members of the museum and Ryan holds this Tulsa staple close in his heart!

Jessica & Ryan’s fall engagement session was my first session back after my own wedding! It was so nice to take a brief hiatus after my own trip down the aisle but it was even better to get back to work with such a sweet couple! J & R are getting married this September at one of my favorite Tulsa wedding venues, Dream Point Ranch! After its opening just a few years ago, Dream Point Ranch quickly became a Tulsa wedding staple thanks to its amazing views and clean blank slate! I can’t wait to see how Jessica transforms it for their day!

After our time taking Philbrook museum engagement pictures with the most amazing foliage, the ditched the trees and headed for downtown Tulsa! One of my favorite things about shooting in Tulsa is how close the most popular locations are! I am never afraid of bringing in two different types of locations, especially when each person in the relationship prefers a different vibe. J & R wanted to incorporate some cityscapes and I was thrilled to take them to one of my favorite rooftops in downtown Tulsa! I love how they elevated their outfits and got to include a casual outfit and then a more fancy look for the rooftop! When planning your Tulsa, OK engagement session, make sure you communicate with your photographer about your locations AND your outfits! Sometimes one outfit might look great at a location but a location change will be necessary with certain outfit changes.
