My Favorite Elegant Oklahoma Wedding Venue

Are you looking for an Oklahoma wedding venue that isn’t a barn?! I’m sharing my 5 favorite venues that are geared towards the modern and classic bride! There’s so much to love about a classic, elegant wedding venue that doesn’t need much added to it! Whether you’re wanting an extravagant ballroom wedding or a just unique backdrop for your intimate day, you shouldn’t look over these venues on your wedding venue search!

1. The Manor – what starts off as a quant home-style venue in Edmond, turns out to be the perfect combination of farmhouse and elegant ballroom! The historic home serves as the getting ready area for the Bride & Groom, as well as a holding area for cocktail hour! The main structure is perfect for large indoor ceremonies and weddings! The white walls and wooden details leave brides plenty of room to bring their vision to life! I can’t forget about the stunning outdoor ceremony locale. Dress it up with the cutest white church pews or opt for the classic chairs. Either way you’ll have the perfect backdrop complete with the rolling hills of Oklahoma!
2. Gaillardia Country Club – When it comes to Oklahoma Country Club Weddings, Gaillardia is my favorite! This Edmond staple is often forgetting, but fear not, membership is not required! There is so much to love about the clubhouse, the outdoor ceremony location, and the amazing staff! As soon as you drive up you immediately get all the European vibes, which are especially hard to find in the Oklahoma City area! The outdoor ceremony spot features the iconic rotunda arbor that you can dress up in so many different ways. Your guests will love how close the ballroom is and if it happens to rain, the ballroom is an amazing indoor ceremony spot as well! If you’re looking for an Oklahoma Wedding Venue that comes with onsite coordinating, catering, bar service and large getting ready rooms, you have to put Gaillardia on your must tour list!
3. The Mayo Hotel – a true Tulsa icon! If you’re looking for an elegant ballroom with Art Deco touches, the Mayo is for you! Their all white ballroom is an iconic as they come and is the perfect location for chic receptions. They have a couple options for ceremonies but my personal favorite is the lobby! The grand stairs leave so much room for creative floral installs and or you could flip the set up and make the biggest grand entrance! The Mayo also offers in-house catering, bar, and coordination, as well as a honeymoon stay!
4. Grand Canadian Theater – its no shock that finding an elegant, non-barn venue in Norman is a bit of a challenge! Here’s where I introduce you to Purcell’s hidden gem! This remodeled theater has lots of elegant touches that need little when it comes to decor! The crystal chandeliers and grand stair-case only add to the wow factor! Though the ceremony and reception will share the same space, I can attest that the staff make the transition as quick and easy as possible! They are masters at flipping a room and always make sure there is plenty of room (and drinks!) for your guests as they wait in the lobby and on the balcony. If you’re looking for a venue in the south OKC metro that is as unique as it is elegant, you can’t miss a tour at the Grand Canadian theater!
5. Sparrow Beginnings – When you think of Stillwater, Oklahoma weddings you might think of a barn, think again!! This stunning, elegant, classy (I could go on and on) is breaking the mold of venues in Oklahoma and I am obsessed! The tall ceilings, grey and white finishes, and large getting ready suites make this one of my all time favorite venues in Oklahoma! With an outdoor ceremony location that features beautiful Payne county views, there is so much to love about this rural locale! The large windows, plentiful parking, honeymoon suite, as so much more make this a one of kind venue that’s halfway between OKC and Tulsa. If you love a little bit of rustic but find importance in timeless touches, I cannot recommend Sparrow Beginnings enough!
