Chic Wedding at the Springs in Edmond, Oklahoma
Ashton & Brody hosted a chic summer wedding at the Springs in Edmond last year! The neutral color palette and elegant details were the perfect compliment to the rustic natural of the Springs.
The day began with the girls getting ready at a family friends’ home close to the venue. When you have a large bridal party you always want to consider the space available at the venue and make sure it is going to be spacious enough to accommodate all of your best girls! I have arrived at a venue way to many times to find 15 girls trying to get ready in a space made for 6, you can imagine how that went! I love that Ashton knew she would need more space and the house they used for getting ready was perfect!
Despite a brief storm rolling in right as the ceremony was happening, A + B had a picturesque summer wedding! The outdoor space at the Springs is often the factor that draws couples in thank to the lush landscaping and mature trees. We had ample for portraits and I was so excited when they opted to head back out for the last bit of sunset for a few more portraits! They are some of my favorites from the day!
When I say Ashton & Brody know how to throw a party, I mean it! From the incredibly special song Brody’s groomsman sang for him to the performances on the stage by guests, a fantastic time was had by all! Its no secret that live bands keep the party going all night long and it was no exception here! Big kudos to Souled Out for their outstanding performance!
We ended the night with an exciting sparkler exit and one of the coolest getaway cards I’ve seen, a ’58 T-Bird! Classic getaway cars are so fun to use and make sure you have amazing photos from the last moments of your wedding!
