From gardens to rooftops, you are going to love this downtown OKC engagement session featuring one of my all time favorite spots, Myriad Gardens!

I met up with Sheerine & James to celebrate their engagement on a slightly balmy summer evening. These two have a contagious joy and I knew from the second we finally got to meet in person that I was going to love them! I am so lucky to have such wonderful, kind, and BEAUTIFUL brides!! One of my favorite parts of being an OKC wedding photographer is getting to meet so many amazing women and the men that they love so well. Here’s to strong women and getting to celebrate them!

We started off our engagement session at the Myriad Gardens! Though it was a beautiful Sunday evening, the park wasn’t too crowded and I was so thankful! We had our pick of spots around the garden, there are truly so many options! If you are looking for ideas for your OKC engagement session, you truly can’t go wrong with Myriad! The lush greens, blooming flowers, and immaculate gardens are a photographers dream!

After the gardens, we made our way over to an OKC rooftop to finish out our session! I love combining two different location feels during engagement sessions to help give couples lots of options for Save the Dates and prints around their home! Though most photos can go with a variety of styles, it never hurts to have options! Especially if you haven’t picked a venue yet!

The rooftop we went to not only has great skyline views, it has lots of background elements to play with. The protective grid that lines the sides of the garage always photograph so well and lead to an interesting, yet clean option for text. Sheerine’s red dress popped against the concrete walls and made me fall in love with the whole look!!
