Summer Wedding at Esperanza Ranch

You are going to love this Summer Wedding at Esperanza Ranch if you are a fan of all things natural and green! Cat + Connor’s wedding was full of rustic, elegant touches that brought out the beauty of one of my favorite Oklahoma outdoor wedding venues, Esperanza Ranch!

Esperanza Ranch is a historic wedding venue located in Luther, OK. The property boasts incredibly grounds that are the perfect backdrop for any nature lovers nuptials, complete with trees, fields, and the most gorgeous pond! Cat & Connor enlisted the help of Poppy Lane Design to add that floral touch that made their day complete! The rustic interior of the venue makes it an easy backdrop to decorate and the couple had a wonderful vision of eucalyptus, vintage bottles, and wood inspired chargers to add to the ambiance.

One of my favorite details of the day was Cat’s incredible floral embroidered veil from JJ Kelly Bridal Boutique! The intricate detailing was stunning from close or far and was so fun to work with during portraits! I always love when my brides to decide to break the bridal mold, even if its just a little bit! Whether that means wearing shoes in a bold color, breaking out a colored reception dress, or a veil alternative, its the best way to show off your personal style while still keeping the traditional bridal look!

One of my favorite things about being an Oklahoma Wedding Photographer is getting to document the true emotions on wedding days! I approach weddings with a more candid philosophy and always try to keep my eyes open to the seemingly small moments that happen around me. Some of my favorite images from this summer wedding were during the reception! Cat + Connor were surrounded by so much love and I tried my hardest to make that evident in the photos I captured! Everything from Connor twirling his mom around during the sweetest mother/son dance to the amazing energy on the dance floor is something I find very important to document for my couples. Of course I love a good portrait session, but even looking back on my own wedding images, I love the moments the most.
