Radiance, grace, and a real life hero all in these Norman Senior Pictures! I am so thankful I got to meet up with Paetyn to celebrate her graduation from OU and the start of her career as an ER nurse!

After 6 years of taking senior pictures at the University of Oklahoma, you’d think I’d get bored of the campus. That would be totally wrong! OU is seriously one of my favorite places to shoot and always keeps me on my creative toes! Whether we’re fighting a crowd exiting the library or 5 other seniors trying to take photos on the north oval, there are always things that require me to flex my creative muscles! One thing I try extra hard to accomplish each session is to give a senior 1 unique spot that I don’t shoot every time! The spot for Paetyn was actually one she suggested herself!

One of Paetyn’s favorite spots on OU’s campus is the courtyard at the Union! I had never thought to shoot here before but I absolutely loved it in college just like Paetyn! The courtyard is filled with the most amazing string lights and ivy walls that give it the iconic collegiate feel. Fun fact, if you’re looking for a different wedding venue in the Norman area, you can actually get married in this courtyard and have your reception in the Molly Shi Ballroom, what a dream!

Paetyn was such a natural in front of the camera and I loved how she wanted to incorporate some props to help tell her senior story! Props are such a fun way to say thank you to your parents, let your friends and family where you are heading next, or just add some fun to your photos! Paetyn hit all three with her scrubs, letter board, and confetti poppers that made her photos all the better!
