Oklahoma Hall of Fame Outdoor Wedding

Let me start this post by saying what a joy it was to be on the vendor team for Ann + Preston! These two are SO loved and everything and everyone they brought together for their celebration was fantastic! Their outdoor wedding at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame was one to remember!

Their wedding week started with a small hiccup that was expertly handled by Keely at Embellished Weddings! What you see in these images wasn’t the first plan of the day, and I’m not even sure if it was the second! Keely made magic happen and turned Ann + Preston’s day into one of my favorite Oklahoma City weddings in 2021! The outdoor courtyard at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame first served as the ceremony space for A + P and was quickly flipped in just 45 minutes to the magical reception space you see below! I was so impressed with Keely and her team and cannot recommend her enough for couples looking for a wedding planner!

We began the day with Ann + her girls getting ready at her and Preston’s home. It doesn’t always work out that you get to get dressed for your wedding in your own bedroom but when it does, its so special! We then headed to Will Rogers Gardens for a sentimental first look! The park was a special location for Ann and her father so I was thrilled we were able to make it a part of their day!

The classic details that Ann chose turned the courtyard at the Oklahoma hall of fame into a chic outdoor wedding! Poppy Lane Design blew me away with the orchid bouquets and banana leaf centerpieces that exuded simple elegance. The black and white color palette was nowhere near boring and was highlighted by the pops of green. One of my favorite details was the Masters jacket cake that was a total surprise for Preston, how fun! Their cake table was finished off with a custom painted champagne bottle from the Merriment Mill that features the wedding crest from their invitation suite. It might just be me but I think the painted champagne bottle trend should stay around forever!
