OKC In Home Engagement Session

Couples

Today I am sharing an engagement session that has such a special place in my heart! It seems like just yesterday me and Hannah were back in high school cheering at football games and hanging out with our friends in her Cabana. Fast forward a few years and I had the privilege of taking photos when Wajer proposed to Hannah at the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa, I definitely shed some tears!! I absolutely adore these two and I wanted to do their story justice! Here is the Bride-to-be laying out their love story!

I remember telling my friend Shelby that I didn’t think my soulmate was at Oklahoma State or even in Oklahoma but the second I saw Wajer i knew I was going to marry him. I know that sounds absurd to most people but there was something about the way he interacted with the people in the room and even the way he said his name, I just knew. Our first date was only 3 days after we met and it was on Valentine’s Day, he picked me up brought me flowers and we went to the city and just had the best time. We were completely inseparable, I knew I had found the love of my life but also my best friend. No one had ever made me feel the way Wajer did, he payed attention to every little detail of my stories and he was so quickly able to point things out about my soul that I had never even noticed. We had only been dating for 2 months when we had the conversation about how we knew we were meant to be together. It all seemed so fast but not rushed. It was like I had known him my whole life and he became home to me and I for him. A love like this and a person like Wajer only comes along once in your lifetime we couldn’t wait any longer to finally be engaged and start planning our future. I am so excited to see where life takes us, even if it’s far away from our home in Oklahoma I know I’ll have my best friend and soulmate along the way.

When it came time to plan the engagement photos, Hannah knew she wanted something a little different. We settled on finding a cute Airbnb in Oklahoma City and oh my goodness it was the best! This sweet guest house tucked away in the Paseo Arts District was the perfect backdrop. I am a sucker for all things white and when you throw in that yellow couch I am over the moon! .

Their wedding is set for early June 2018 and i am counting down the days! Hannah is going to be the most stunning bride. For now here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!

Enjoy!
