Downtown Oklahoma City was showing off this past fall for Sierra & Eric’s engagement pictures! With a cloudless sky and calm winds, I had the best evening visiting the Oklahoma City Civic Center and one of my favorite downtown rooftops to celebrate their engagement!

Sierra + Eric are getting married this fall at The Springs in Edmond! Fun fact, they were my first 2021 couple to book me! I know Sierra thanks to our college sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and was SO thrilled when she asked me to shoot their wedding! I’ve always known Sierra to be the sweetest soul and seeing her interact with Eric was just the best! Needless to say, I cannot wait until October!

Our first stop of the session was the OKC Civic Center! The civic center is one of my favorite downtown Oklahoma City engagement picture backdrops because of its grand nature! The large windows and elegant stonework are so beautiful and give off the perfect Art Deco feel. We also made a stop at the OKC city offices because of its similar vibes, but most importantly its shade!! Though I love sunshine, sometimes its a bit too much at the beginning of engagement sessions and its better to take a break from the harsh OKC light.

For Sierra + Eric’s second outfit we made our way to one of my favorite OKC rooftops! The mesh that lines the garage gives such a cool feel to photos and I’m always a sucker for tall concrete walls. Sometimes photos are just better with less going on!

We finished up our downtown OKC session on the streets. Yep! The streets! The fall colors were still around on the trees right across from the garage and I couldn’t pass it up! Thankfully the Saturday traffic was minimal and Sierra & Eric were so gracious to go along with my ideas.
