Rainy Spring Wedding at Coles Garden

If you’re from Oklahoma, you are going to love this rainy spring wedding at Coles Garden in Oklahoma City!

Gabby and Jeriah’s May wedding was filled with hues of blue that brought all the sunshine to this rainy day! The amazing team of vendors worked through all sorts of weather to make sure this day happened and I cannot thank them enough for all of their flexibility!

Forever Blushing Events planned the day to perfection and made sure that even when the rain came, the day stayed on track! The flowers by The Medieval Garden were the best addition to the waterfront ceremony site at Coles Garden and made the indoor reception an absolute stunner! Gabby’s dress from Bella Rose Edmond stole the show with its sleek mermaid silhouette! It was my first time getting to work with the amazing ladies from Pulley Productions and I was so impressed with how the handled all of the road bumps during the day! I absolutely loved working along side of them and would highly recommend them to any of my brides!

If you are planning an outdoor wedding in Oklahoma during the spring, you need a rain plan! Even if you plan is to get married in the rain, you need to know what’s going to happen! Gabby & Jeriah were determined to have a waterfront ceremony and thats what we did!

About 5 minutes before the processional, the ominous clouds began to roll in. Just as Gabby made her way to Jeriah the sky opened up and the whole crowd got a lovely shower! haha Thankfully lots of guests had umbrellas and gave an extra to the bride & groom! You’ll see in some of my favorite pictures from their ceremony that these two lovebirds didn’t let the rain phase them and were still all smiles! In all my years as an Oklahoma City wedding photographer, this was the first time that it began raining during the ceremony and I must admit, I kind of loved it!
