Allie + Reid’s north Texas summer wedding was filled with joy, love, and COLOR! All of my favorite things!
Fun fact, I know Allie + Reid because of my husband Collin! Collin and Reid both went through at Aviation program at the University of Oklahoma and thanks to a mutual friends wedding, I was able to be connected to one of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet!
When it comes to clients finding me, there is no better compliment than a couple coming to me through a referral! Whether its because someone has sent them my work on instagram or a previous client loved working with me, I am always so elated when that referral comes in! This was absolutely the case with Allie + Reid! Their rustic wedding in Celina, Texas was filled with color and sentimental details! Allie did most of the signage and centerpieces herself and it was so wonderful to see her vision come to life! One of my favorite details, that was also a surprise, was the replica of the first plane Allie + Reid went flying in during Reid’s time at OU. The planed doubled as the ring bearer pillow to escort the wedding bands down the aisle, how sweet!
When it comes to wedding day timelines, I always tell me couples not to worry if things get behind! Our timeline got pretty off on this balmy summer day but as always, it all worked out in the end! We only had about 10 minutes left of light for portraits with Allie + Reid but we made every single moment count! I still wanted to shoot as much film as possible but without time to run back up to the main venue to get my tripod, I held my breath and thankfully their film images are my favorites of the day!
